Nice quirky, clean little place, very taste menu! Staff are pleasant. Currently doing an evening dinner menu as well. Prices are very reasonable. On the main street beside some crafty shops with some lively bits!

My daughter and I went in for lunch. I had a spicy thai chicken salad that was amazing. Very spicy. I could have the sauce on almost anything.(I used my daughters chips to sop up some of the sauce.) I was disappointed the children’s chicken and chips was formed chicken nuggets, not real. But, the staff very polite and welcoming.

Camo’s, another great eating house in Cahersiveen. I had the Salmon, which was nice. It wasn’t as tasty as the wild salmon that QCs serve, but it was way way cheaper and there was more of it. It came with bacon and green beans in a parsley cream sauce. My partner had a Cambodian fish type curry and thought it was very nice too. We shared a Lemon Meringue, which was nice also. Décor is excellent and toilets immaculate — always a good sign in a restaurant. The window seats are great for people watching. Although watching cars ignore the pedestrian crossing had my heart in my mouth a few times! Highly recommended, Camo’s.

I’m a traveler in Ireland and appreciated the staff letting me hook up my laptop and connect to their free wifi. The wait staff is fast and friendly and won’t hesitate to change orders on the fly or work with your taste to find something you’ll love. The portion sizes are huge here, more than enough to stuff a hungry traveler like myself. I had bangers and mash, which came with three large sausages and a large pedestal of mashed potatoes, surrounded by a moat of sweet and warm gravy that had marinated for quite some time in fresh herbs. I asked my waitress where the ingredients were from and she told me they are all locally sourced– my sausages were from the butcher just down the street and specially made for the restaurant. My friend got the roasted vegetable Mediterranean panini with a side of fries and salad with house dressing, which is actually the best dressing I’ve ever had. It tastes like a kicked up honey mustard and vinegar, way better than the bottled stuff. I can’t speak for the panini myself since my friend gobbled it up before I got a chance to try it, but it was«$&*#%ing delicious! And the smoked cheese really brought out the richness of the roasted veggies.» This is a great option for vegetarians for sure, but there are several options for vegetarians here. I hear they have some really awesome fish and chips here… Any of your typical«Irish» foods are readily available! Come here breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Rory(the head chef and owner) will warmly welcome you.
