Has a tornado been announced without me knowing? Or a hurricane or drought or some type of natural disaster?
Or perhaps I got into a teleport instead of the shower and got transported to Zimbabwe where bananas cost € 19 each and the shelves of shops are bare as a result?
Surely I can’t think of any other reason as to why Spar in Celbridge is just so empty. Empty of fittings, empty of shelves, and those fittings and shelves that are there, are, well, you guessed it, EMPTY!
No, they are not closing down, no they are not in the middle of re-​stocking, it just always looks like this. You can get your basics in here yes, but that’s about it folks. Even the staff behind the counter don’t look too pleased to be working here. To be honest, I’d be depressed if I was them too!
It was all different when this joint was Damien’s Londis! Aaah the good old days…
