I can only describe The Orchard as an Avoca mixed with high end Harvey norman and woodies garden centre. but better. It has everything for home interiors, pet accessories, garden furniture, bespoke furniture, curtains, bed linen, health food products, plants, trees. The list goes on. If you’e looking for a house warming gift, wedding gift, a new chair, crockery, pots, candles, a couch… This is the place to go. They have beautiful displays and room layouts that made me wish my living room looked like that… The place is huge. They also have a café that I’m hoping to get to very soon!

We found this place after a while wandering around. I am not familiar with Celbrigde/Leixlip so with the Google Maps sat navigator I was just driving in a loop and couldn’t find it :) The best way to reach it is probably the M50 even if you live on the side of the toll, because it saves you time and nerves instead of going to Lucan Village and so on. This is a nice place because I like their style in showing furniture and other articles. They have a big area to buy everything you need for pets, another area for kitchen furniture. I love the little corner with jams and preserves. Upstairs you can find garden furniture. I saw they also have a café/restaurant but I didn’t try so cannot tell you how it is. Outside you can find the plants(flowers, vegs and tree plants) although their selection is not so big. I found other garden centre to have more plants at lower prices. What I found really nice it is the pot flower combinations, 2 pots for 30 Euro in rectangular or circle shape. A thing I didn’t find and it might be good to sell are a clothes section from Irish business in the style with gardening or trekking. I am agree with other Unilocalers about the long queue at the till. Probably if staff speeds a little bit, it will reduce waiting time. In conclusion, if you live in Dublin and looking only for plants to refurbish your garden, this might not the best place to save money or be able to choice from a large selection. If you just want to spend a Sunday afternoon in a nice place, having a browse around and get a coffee, for sure this is a nice one to visit where a whole family can enjoy it.

Garden centre, pet shop, café, upmarket homewares… there’s a lot going on at The Orchard. I have a pretty low tolerance for looking at furniture, so it helps that the café is so good. The cakes and lunch options are all excellent, and there’s plenty of seating to rest up before another circuit of the garden section…

Orchard nurseries Celbridge is an excellent garden centre. It has very good quality products which are not cheap but you get what you pay for. It also has a very nice restaurant with lovely food again not cheap but good.

There are not enough synonyms for the word delicious to describe the food here. Be it the soup, the full meals or the cakes; it is all simply delicious. The only very small criticism I would have is that the till queue can be very slow, but I think this might be the result of the Orchard being the victim of their own success. Five out of five, as it has been for the last 4 years. Keep up the great work.

More than just a garden centre and café. I usually go here to meet friends for coffee but always wander through the store at the gorgeous, Flashy, cosy and sometime quirky home décor. To be honest the prices are way out of my league BUT I do get all my pet food and goodies here as it costs the same as in the vets. The café is lovely… open and spacious. Food is yum… just went for plain tomato and basil soup the other day and got 2 massive slices of homemade brown bread with it for € 4.50. YUM. The salads, main courses and deserts always look delicious however im yet to sample.

Quaint tea cups and home supplies. Pet care, fish, cute accessories. Flowers, peat, garden accessories. Cards, candles, books. Home décor and numerous other things. I can hardly remember what is here, if you want a better idea or looking for something specific, take a look at the website. There is a canteen with lovely sandwiches, pastries, teas and coffees, and I can see why. The Orchard really is a whole day out if you are just going up for a look around. It will suck you in with the pretty tea cups and garden accessories like water features and ornamental hedgehogs by the door, then you just go further and further until you find yourself in the garden part, surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs, seriously wondering how to find your way back out again! Much like Avoca, well worth a stroll around on a Sunday, you never know what you would pick up!

The Garden Centre is always pleasant for a Sunday stroll and they have a nice selection of furniture, ornaments and knick-knacks. The best part about it is the café. The food is cooked fresh and tastes it too. Usually they do my favourite, a beef lasagne with loads of roasted vegetables. They’re good for breakfast too and generous with helpings. Staff are nice and on a sunny day the view and atmosphere is lovely, especially when you can sit outside and eat surrounded by the plants and flowers from the garden centre.
