Walsh’s Bakery and Coffee Shop is located in the heart of Clifden, Connemara. The Family run bakery features a full line scratch bakery that has been operating for 60 years as well as a coffee shop that offers daily specials and full coffee bar. So please do drop in and see the mouth-​watering creations available in fact with so many varieties of bread, pastries and desserts you may need an extra visit to take it all in.

History

Established in 1953.

Walsh’s Bakery & Coffee Shop run by husband and wife team Cathal & Joan Walsh, is a second generation family Bakery based in Clifden, Connemara. Here at the Bakery we are dedicated to producing high quality hand-​crafted breads, cakes and desserts, using premium, natural ingredients, with many of our products made using the same recipes first used by Cathal’s Father Tom 60 years ago!

Breakfasts, freshly made sandwiches, wraps, salads, creamy buns and scrumptious cake served with a pot of tea or a cup of our aromatic gourmet coffee are just some of the dishes on offer in the Coffee shop, so why not drop in for a visit, a warm welcome is guaranteed and delicious food is plentiful and service with a smile awaits you.
