Fertility Check is a cork fertility clinic established in 2012 to provide Irish men with a dedicated fertility testing service.

A key feature of this service is to provide testing in a discrete, efficient and reassuring manner.

Fertility Check caters for men both at the early stages of investigation for infertility and also for those requiring more advanced comprehensive testing.

Services range from a simple approximation of sperm count to in-​depth analysis at a genetic level.

The postal service allows Vasectomy patients an easier alternative route of testing post-​operation.

We understand that the subject of fertility can be a very private and personal matter.

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Michelle O’ C.

Business Owner

Dr Michelle O’Connor has worked with male infertility patient services since the completion of her PhD in Biochemistry and Genetics. This involved research in University College Cork, the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark and the Eccles Institute of Human Genetics, University of Utah.

She is a member of ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) and accredited by NEQAS (UK National External Quality Assessment Service).

Dr O’Connor recently participated in the PINC program for entrepreneurs at the Rubicon Business Incubation Centre located on campus in the Cork Institute of Technology.

She has been supported by The Cork City Enterprise Board Ltd., an initiative funded by the Irish Government and part-​financed by the European Union Structural funds Programme of 2007 – 2013.
