We stock the widest range of parts from simple things such as key fobs, clutches, brake pads, batteries, filters, to the more mechanical requirements of suspensions, cylinder heads, electronics etc. No matter what the part we will have it in stock or order it in. This is evident from our slogan of «\we’ve got it». Our fully qualified mechanics are happy to fit the parts and carry out the repairs required.

At Motorway we have a vast range of accessories to choose from and we are recognised as one of the market leaders within our industry. Our knowledge allows us to give expert advice to all of our clients.

Tools

Hand tools, power tools & garage equipment we have it all at Motorway. Direct suppliers to the motor industry. We have our own workshop which keeps us up to date.

History

Established in 1996.

Motorway opened originally on Gerald Griffin Street in Blackpool. Soon after year one, the decision was made to move to a purpose built unit in The Kinsale Road Business Park as it was extremely Central and easy to get to along the Southern Link Road from any part of Cork City. Whilst waiting for the building to be erected, Motorway moved to Glasheen Road before finally opening our new premises in March of 2000.

Mezzanine flooring was installed to allow for a vast expansion in our Car Parts ranges and 2000 square feet was utilised to cater for the widest range of Car Accessories and Tools displays.

I opened Motorway Car Parts and Accessories back in 1996 having started in the Motor Factor industry 10 years earlier. Beginning as a stores assistant, I moved quickly to sales and within 5 years opened a new business as junior partner and Managing Director. 5 years later I took the leap of opening my own business.

The philosophy at Motorway is that of a One-​Stop-​Shop for the automotive industry and DIY customer. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours but experience has shown that the customer buying a hose clip today is the same customer who will spend hundreds over time. Hence our motto is «we’ve got it»

Automotif Tyre &Service Centre was opened in March of 2008 and has proven to be the ideal complement to Motorway. Not only does it provide a facility to help customers identify their needs, it also provides qualified and experienced mechanical advice from its superb team.
