The Brand new Volvo has been sitting in my drive for the last 4 weeks… well, when I say new, new to me. I have been making excuse not to use it for the last month and now I have a doozey, the front right hand tyre has a huge gouge out of it I hadn’t noticed before. Eventually I had to pluck up the courage to move from my lovely Micra to the 2.4 Ltr tank that is the S60.
My first port of call was Fast Fit. The guys are helpful and friendly, gave me all sorts of advice, replaced the tyre (a crippling 110 Eur) and then said… erm. how long have you been driving this car? I say something in the region of 30 mins, they say «your breaks are shot to hell, not safe, we can fix em» Well, the shop does say fast fix. I say ok, I drop the car in 2 days later and 90 mins after that I am road legal and safe again.
Now all I have to do is learn how to park the blasted thing…
