Flogas Ireland

I do wish Unilocal had a way of adding a new catagory as I could not find the right one for FloGas and I noticed that the listing they had was for furniture. They are the other provider for Gas besides Bord Gais.
Anyway with the bad weather my bills were huge over the winter and I wanted to arrange some type of budget plan over the year where I would be paying about the same amount each month — I hate nasty surprises.

I spoke with a number of people and was eventually told that if I wanted this type of plan it would cost more and that I would have to stay with them for a year. I wondered who else I might switch to as i did not realise that there was another provider for Gas.
I checked on the Citizens advice website and they mentioned Flogas. So I called Flogas and I am in the process of switching. With Direct Debit they are cheaper and they do a budget plan at no extra cost. Bord Gais charge a € 60 as a standing fee and with a budget plan I was told it would be over € 130. Flogas is a straight standing fee of € 60. So I am looking forward to easier bills. Flogas provides natural gas to your home the same as Bord Gais. They also supply gas in cannisters.
