History

Established in 2011.

I am a fully accredited (MIACP) counsellor and psychotherapist in private practice based at Harold’s Cross Medical Centre (Dr Jim Holden and Associates). I welcome private clients and no GP referral is necessary to make an appointment. The Medical Centre is conveniently located for clients based in Harold’s Cross, Rathgar, Terenure, Rathmines, Kimmage, Portobello, Crumlin, Rialto, etc., Please see my website for further details.

Please note I do not work with clients under the age of 18 years and I do not currently offer counselling to couples.

Business Owner

Andrew holds a first class BSc (Hons.) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Postgrad Cert in Gestalt Psychotherapy. He also completed training in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills. As a fully Accredited Member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, the largest professional body for counsellors in Ireland, Andrew works within the IACP Code of Ethics and Practice. His work is fully insured and he attends regular clinical supervision in accordance with professional best practice.

Prior to training as a therapist, he studied at Oxford University, Trinity College Dublin and UCD and subsequently worked in the Irish arts industry.
