Some of the best customer service you’ll get in Ireland. Other business could learn a lot from them. The girls that work there put up with a lot from the immature teenage males that walk in there from time to time, the security guards could do a better job keeping the riff raff out.

Ann Summers is partly a lingerie store, but it doesn’t sell your average day-​to-​day stuff. The lingerie here is really, really pretty and is meant to be seen by someone else rather than hidden under your favorite t-​shirt. You don’t buy underwear here, you buy an outfit.
So the lingerie is all well and good but what surprised and delighted me was that Ann Summers also sells an awesome assortment of vibrators, sexy costumes (nurse, maid, pilot, cop, etc.) lubes and other sexytime goodies. I LOVE the fact that a store on friggin O’Connell Street in the middle of downtown sells sex toys. I appreciate such an open and awesome attitude toward modern sexuality, specifically female sexuality, so often swept under the proverbial carpet. Ann Summers is doing her part to let girls know it’s not only ok to diddle their fiddles, but telling them that it is fun, funny and awesome. WIN.

Did you now that Ann Summers is where you can find Knickerbox underwear? It’s great! Obviously Ann Summers has all of the other stuff you’d imagine, exciting lingerie, sex toys and paraphernalia and some fun hen stuff. It also has a nice selection of underwear and they do good deals. At the moment there’s a 3 for 2 on most Knickerbox stuff and also two bras for € 31.

I don’t really know how to categorise Ann Summers. It sells really nice lingerie in an excellent array of sizes and sexy styles that appeal to every woman around. It is also a sex shop that sells sex toys and videos and other erotic material, yet it is also very popular with women and hen’s and people looking for fun gifts for people, oh and it is a high street store!
I have to admit when Ann Summers opened up first it was really refreshing to have a very cool, open, friendly non threatening girl friendly adult store to use but now I just find it tacky, expensive and for middle aged couples who don’t know what to buy or do to spice things up so pick up a pair of fluffy pink handcuffs!
It is a good shops for your hen and stags parties, for some sexy undies or a pink whip with matching handcuffs, but if you actually wanted anything for your sex life go head to Capel Street.

I’m always surprised that Ann Summers is located in such a visible spot. Right smack-​dab in the middle of O’Connell Street, people come in and out of this racy shop and no one pauses to gawk and stare.
Yes, it is a lingerie shop but they sell a lot of other sexy things such a sex toys, soft-​porn DVDs and bondage wear. In a way, it’s good that this place exists as it is the only «sex» shop that focuses on women.
It’s also great to come in her and have a laugh at some of the outfits they’re selling. I swear that some of their dress-​up stuff can come in handy for Halloween or a fancy dress party. That is if you’re going as a cheerleader or a sex siren.
Ann Summers has a mix of trashy and comfy and the prices are good so come here for a deal.
