Acupuncture works on balancing the body which in turn triggers the healing process.
I practice general acupuncture therapy including:
Fertility treatments, pre-birthing & pregnancy care, stress & anxiety, pain, migraine, tinnitus, vertigo, insomnia & IBS.
I also teach Iyengar Yoga from Open Mind Yoga & The Olive Tree studio in Dublin. Please see my website for further information.
History
Established in 2009.
Bairbre’s initial interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine grew from extensive travel in South East Asia, China, Nepal and India where she developed a keen interest in Eastern Therapies and began her studies with Thai Massage and Yoga.
Bairbre is a licensed Acupuncturist who initially trained for 3 years in the Professional Practice of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture at the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland, in Dublin. She trained under the Foundation’s many distinguished doctors including Dr Wu Jidong of Middlesex University and Dr Fanyi Meng & Dr Lao Jin Huide of Lincoln University in her final year of clinical training.
Having qualified as an Acupuncturist, Bairbre travelled to China and undertook postgraduate training at Nanjing University’s International Acupuncture Training Centre at the TCM hospital of Jian Su Province, training under the hospital director, Dr Gu Zhaojun. During her time in China she also spent time working under the teaching and guidance of Dr Qiao Wenlei of
