I have been trying to contact this shop for ages… the fone just rings out!!! I bought an Acer(big mistake) notebook from them and it has just been plagued with problems! Because off my work and where i live i find it hard to get into town!!! I just want to know if my warranty has expired yet and are they still in business! Surely they would even have an answering machine for messages??? No!!! Not happy with the product they sold me or the service provided! If you are still in business and read this could you please reply with some way for me to contact you!

Like a lot of other women I am fairly useless with computers so I was fairly surprised when a friend asked me to come along and help him pick a new Laptop. Thankfully we went to Beyond 2000 where the staff knew enough about Laptops to recommend one which fulfilled his criteria. Unlike Rob, I found the staff to be very enthusiastic and helpful and they did really know their stuff as well. They do have good deals and they have answered short questions about computer problems for me as well, so I can’t really say anything negative about these guys.

I’ve passed by this place about twice a week for two years, and consistently stopped to look at the deals advertised in the window but only decided to venture for the first time a few days back. I was asking about a few different things and found the guy I was talking to not entirely unhelpful, but so unenthusiastic that he really didn’t sell anything I was looking for to me. I don’t expect a salesperson to jump around a shop floor with sparklers stuck in a top hat to sell me a printer, but he seemed a bit too uninterested to make it a pleasant experience. That being said, they had great deals, and a lot of the things I was looking for, which I hadn’t seen elsewhere. I left thinking I may buy a new printer, but that people that work in Beyond 2000 are all a bit unhappy with their lives.

Ok, let’s get one thing straight. I’m hopeless with computers, and computer repairs, and antivirus programs and all that. It’s a cliché and I resent that I am not more technologically savvy, but that’s just the way I roll. I don’t need to be good with computers, because I don’t work in a computer store, and I expect the people who work there to be able to help me out when I get my laptop into a bit of a crisis. Which is why it’s a bit annoying when I ask them a question and they straight away turn around and say ‘ah sorry, we can’t help you with that’. The woman who served me palmed off my computer as ‘foreign’ and told me I’d have to go back to where I bought it from(to fix the worldwide Norton Antivirus program???) I’m not too keen on booking a ticket halfway around the world to fix something I can fix here, thanks very much! The gentleman who was working in the store overheard our little conversation, and obviously knows more about Norton than his colleague, because he was able to solve my problem in about 30 seconds. No international plane ticket required. Thanks very much mate, no thanks to your fellow member of staff.
