Brilliant Chemist and fantastic staff. They always have time for questions and are incredibly fast processing prescriptions. I have been going here for the past ten years and they are just fantastic. They sell everything as well including gift sets, make up counter, hair colour, perfume, slippers What more could you want!

If I am at a loose end of a weekday evening, I usually take the opportunity to try and tame my hair and sort my nails, and this is where I come to purchase my tools. It is a good sized pharmacy, with a photo lab and a brilliant selection of beauty products, with very regular sales. I picked up Loreal Regenerist for the princely sum of € 11 and a Pearl Drops toothpaste/mouthwash combo for € 3 just last night. Most of the staff are obviously college students working here part time, which makes them perfect for recommending new beauty products, but not so much for helping with medicinal stock. Luckily they have a lovely pharmacist, who goes out of her way to be helpful, and like another poster mentioned, to advise on generic products and save you some cash!

Now this is a proper pharmacy! I was trawling through Kimmage one day trying to find a chemist shop selling a good selection of hair colour products and it wasn’t ’til I reached here that I got any satisfaction. I love a big, spacious, airy pharmacy where the staff leave you in peace to browse — and this fits the bill perfectly. As well as my desired range of hair colours, they do a fantastic selection of health and beauty stuff, along with gifts. Although I got a bit of a shock when I came upon Westlife’s new perfume, which I didn’t know existed up to that moment!

As well as being the metaphorical crossroads that divides Dublin east and west, watch the house prices plummet as you cross into Dublin 12, the KCR also has an off licence which has the dreaded Donnybook Fair logo, ie expect to pay through the nose, as well as the very well stocked Bradleys Pharmacy. Its great, spacious as well as being a local chemist has a photography counter where I paid, a little over the odds for passport photos for € 7. As the seperate pharmacy desk they do the usual range of prescription and over the counter drugs, unlike a lot of places they’ll reccomend the generic labels for OTC stuff, which are generally cheaper. The place is pretty huge and they have a well stocked Perfumes and aftershave counter they also do healthy stuff, all the usual chemisty gear as well as a huge over stock of Lynx shower gels, they’ll never shift that stuff, its muck.
