OK so I am struggling to justify even 3 stars for this place. Let’s start with the plus side. Location it is very conveniently placed in the city centre on parliament Street in the temple bar area of the city, great for food drink tourists and entertainment. The rooms are clean which is always a plus. The staff all seem to be nice and efficient. OK so I have run out of good things to say. Now onto the bad. One of the most uncomfortable beds in history, creaks at every movement and you can feel every spring. One pillow each that is flat as a pancakes. Then there is 2pm check in with no secure luggage storage. No kettle in the room for tea/coffee. Paper thin walls, outdated windows that are rather draughty. The tv has 2 channels avaliable now not so important but when your trying to chill out before sleeping you would like a little choice. Also no WiFi on the top floor which is unforgivable in this day and age. And the stairs oh the stairs. If you are on the top floor there is no lift and the stairs aren’t even so it is a bit of a mission. I dread to think what would happen in a fire as I can only see one exit from the place. In fact the more I read my review I want to give it 2 stars and that is where I will leave this rating. If the owners read this review. Please take heed and look at renovating your rooms.

Functional. Not a horrible stay, but definitely less than I expected. The rooms are super tiny, walls are thin, and being so close to Temple Bar it definitely doesn’t keep any of the sound out, and well into the night. That said, it’s an old building so it’s really not that surprising. Bare-minimum hotel experience. The bathroom was really tiny. Shower, even tinier. If you are a skeleton then this won’t be much of a problem. For Santa Claus it’s pretty much useless. I was only in town for 4 nights. Room was clean, but felt a bit rickety being on the top floor. Like sleeping on the top of a really old ladder. Pros: Convenient location, Nice/helpful 24 hour staff Cons: Tiny room, Tiny bathroom, Tiny Bed, Noisy location, Thin Walls. I suspect cost has more to do with their location than quality of hotel. Hotel Wifi doesn’t reach past the 3rd floor. If all you need is a place to sleep, and you can sleep through the noise on the streets outside at night, and noise through the walls, it’s functional.

Decent small room with bath. While clean it really needs a refurbishment anyways. While at time of book it said there would be a TV there was none(I don’t care but others might). Very friendly personal(reception open 24⁄7). Just staying there for sleeping it is good value for money.

I was pretty surprised how expensive Dublin is. For the price of this hotel, I could have been in the ritz. But as far as centally hotels go, this is one of the lower priced ones. The check-in isn’t till 4pm. A bit late I think. You can’t expect us to stand around for 6 hour waiting. So me and my date walked around some. Since he didn’t sleep the night before, he decided to catch a kip in the reception area. As soon as he started Zzzzz, they instantly found us a room! And better, a triple room. They didn’t want us hanging around. The rooms are better looking and cleaner than I expected. From the reception, it kinda looks like a dumpy hostel, the rooms are pretty tidy and bathrooms clean. Location is perfect. So I would happily return to this hotel!
