Apparently the recession has caused the cobbler industry to make a comeback! Seriously. People who used to frequently throw their shoes out are now trying to get more wear out of them by bringing them to be re-​heeled or whatever! That explains why this place was busy when I passed the other day. In fact it seems to be doing a thriving trade — and rightly so. Every area of the city should have a good local cobbler/​shoe repair store and this one fits the bill nicely.
