This pleasant little café offers all sorts of delicacies to go with your morning fuel. It’s a charming destination with both indoor and outdoor seating, ideal when you need to take a load off your feet and want nothing more than to enjoy freshly-baked pastries and a hot cup of quality coffee. I could sit here all day, every day, and watch the traffic go by, if I didn’t have to work to pay my bill.

It is Saturday morning… no, not right now, you are hardly reading reviews on a Saturday morning when you could be in bed, all snuggled up in your quilt, pretending Monday is months away… joy. It is Saturday morning in the Q household, both cat and Child have decided that dad has had quite enough sleep and its 7am and what’s he still doing in bed anyway!?. I crawl out of bed, play lego, feed the cat, maybe make up a bottle, put some cartoons on the TV… then remember I left the child up stairs. With Child in arm I drive to café I’Opera, a 15 min drive but worth it for the croissants alone but you would hardly go all that way and not also get some cream doughnuts or a coffee slice… it .is all fresh, all tasty and worth getting out of bed for. If you don’t happen to have a child with you and the sun is shining then you can sit out in the patio area and sip your very good coffee while having the cream bun and if you are a smoker then I can tell you it is a very pleasant experience indeed.
