Chartbusters

This Chartbusters is good for DVD rental etc, but what is better is that it has internet facilities and you can surf the net for € 1 per hour, which is very reasonable compared to many other internet outlets. In fact many of the internet ‘cafes’ in town (that sometimes don’t even serve teas and coffees) are a complete rip off. I’ve been in ones where I’ve clocked up about € 6 and I’ve not even been there for two hours. And that’s before you print anything!
In any case, this Chartbusters in Phibsboro is ideal for surfing online if you need to as the charges won’t break the bank and most of the computers are in working order. That said, the place can be a tad shabby at times and it gets busy and therefore noisy. Sometimes there are people in there with their kids and that can be very distracting.
Word of warning too — mind your bag. I had money taken out of my wallet one time. Someone managed to remove my wallet from my bag by my feet, take the cash in it and put the wallet back in the bag! It was only when I went to pay that I discovered I’d been robbed. When I told the girl behind the counter she shrugged and said something about it happening all the time and that I needed to be more careful! Well, I guess she was right. Any time I’ve been back since I practically tie my bag around my body!
