This place used to be a greasy spoon type of place that was always a bit on the wrong side of the fence. After the transformation into a coffee shop, none of the old stickiness remains but a Scandinavian– inspired stripped back interior and very friendly service.
I went there to try their almond croissants which I heard are the size of a small child and THE BOMB! They get them delivered from a bakery down the road (must find out which one) but sadly they were all sold out on the day and I settled for Americano and a pastry.
It’s also a great spot to come to with your laptop and do some work. Or play.
