In the family since 1977 Devitts is an established and well known Dublin pub. Serving traditional food daily and with excellent live music weekly Devitts is one of the best pubs in the city centre. An ideal spot to watch various sporting event especially the GAA championship.

History

Established in 1977.

Opened by Willie Devitt in 1977 with a view to giving customers excellent service in a friendly atmosphere. It is now being run by his children who have not forgotten the core principals on what he founded and built up over the years.

Business Owner

Originally from Limerick Willie moved to Dublin in the 60s to serve his apprenticeship as a barman. After completing his training he went on to manage/​own several bars before settling in Devitts in 1977. A keen hurler who represented Dublin for many seasons he has a passion for GAA and catching him in Devitts on a Sunday, watching the championship cannot be missed!
