Dunnes Stores

Supermarket is always well stocked and staff are nice. Great selection of items. And they even have a department store upstairs handy for grabbing bits and bobs.

Not a bad Dunnes Shop at all — the main reason I visit here is for the lunch deli — they have the biggest selection of foods hot and cold anywhere in Sandyford Industrial Estate…

The heart of soul of the Beacon complex. The supermarket is well stocked and more often than not they have what I need to cook a good meal. The fish and meat selection does not have the variety of a butchers or fish mongers so sometimes you might have to go elsewhere but you can’t have it all. Lots of fruit and veg also.
The homewear section upstairs offers a good selection of clothes and items for the house. Opening hours are very convenient.
I’ve come here often, and shall continue to do so. A great place.

This particular Dunnes is where I food shop most often, so I am very familiar with it. I have to say this Dunnes is probably the best one I’ve been in.
It has a lot more to offer in terms of selection and things you don’t normally find at other shops. For example I found canned artichoke hearts here and black beans, both of these items are hard to find at most shops, I’ve found. Their produce section is massive and always stocked with fresh fruit and veg. The bakery area has an assortment of different types of bread, rolls and pastries, baked daily. They also have a hot food bar where you can get sandwiches made or pick up a cooked chicken for dinner. You can also get meat from the meat section, or from the Dunnes butcher where they have a variety of meats as well as fish. This Dunnes also has a homestore on the upper level, along with an off license/​beer/​wine area. The store itself is always clean and well stocked, and they are always seem to have all the items that everyone else can’t find.

My new local dunnes and what a Dunnes it is!!! Surrounded by offices it is no surprise to find a HUGE range of lunch foods — fresh and pre-​prepared but also the usual supermarket stuff.
The staff are incredibly plesant and friendly, really, its lovley to go in there for that alone… though if you start going in on a regular basis and not buying things they may not be as nice, so dont do that either.

This is the best Dunnes stores ever, why? Because not many people go there as far as I can see, its in the middle of an industrial estate and its only been there almost two years (young in the life of a shopping centre I suppose!). so anyway, because this shop is never very full it is a pleasure to walk around, you don’t need to battle with other shoppers for trolley space! Upstairs in the Dunnes home and clothes section is great to, again there is now competition for space but also you can always find your size among a wide selection of clothes and shoes because there is so much stock still left there. Now, I am not about to claim that other Dunnes stores are messy, because they are not but this one is particularly neat because nobody is there to mess up all the rails. Well, actually I will say that their sale rails are a total mess actually but the rest of the shop is perfect! Anyway, if you want hassle free shopping in a Dunnes stores I recommend this branch.
