After playing a tennis match with some friends at Trinity College, I realize that it was time to get a tennis racquet. I went to Elverys and I got Babolat in a very good price.
The staff was very polite and they help me a lot to choose a proper one. I recommend that place if you need any sport stuff.

After visiting a few different sports equipment stores, I popped in here to get decent walking shoes for the harbor to harbor walk this weekend.
The staff is really amazing. The woman who helped me made sure I got the perfect trainers for what I need and within the price range I was looking for. She even checked on a student discount for me.

The focus of the sport apparel in this store is chiefly rugby, hockey and golf. I’d recommend heading to the branch in Dun Loaghaire for other sporting goods.

I’m big into sports, playing Rugby (full-​contact) and Lacrosse (sometimes) and training for a Triathlon. So I needed to find a sports store, where I can get protective gear such as gum-​shields and scrum-​caps as well as sports-​tape, which you can’t always get in some of the bigger sports stores. Cue Elvery’s. The staff are always helpful, they know enough about sports to help you chose the best possible gear– especially runners– for your sport of choice and they will swap training tips with you. They will also order gear in for you if they don’t have it in stock.
You can also get a variety of GAA and Rugby jerseys here along with all kinds of balls and bats. Even if you’re not mad into sports it’s worth dropping in.

In my experience this Elvery’s store has stuff you won’t find in some of their more local branches. It’s bigger than you would think from the outside and is in a handy location, just off the end of Grafton Street on Suffolk Street.
As you might expect, it’s jam packed with all sorts of sports equipment and fashions. As well as all the usual sports paraphernalia commonly used on this island, I’m told this is the place to go for more specialist items, if you’re into the more niche sports. I was looking for some sporty Christmas presents that I was finding hard to locate in Dublin, so my search brought me to this shop and the visit was exceedingly successful. They’ll order stuff in for you too, if they can. The result last year was one happy Christmas shopper — thumbs up Elverys.

This original Elverys on Suffolk street feels like it’s been around forever, open since 1847. Its pretty much the best stocked sports shop i’ve ever been too.
Although they’ve expanded in a big way across our little Island, this Dublin city centre store still is sill the best of the lot. From Leitrim GAA Jerseys to Connaught sweatshirts and the latest football strips from the UK and beyond.
They do more then the above though, with Elverys stocking everything from Archery equipment to darts as well equipment for lesser played sports, in Ireland anyway, such as cricket and squash.
Worth a look if your looking for that hard to find county jersey or if you take up baseball.
