To be avoided at all costs. These people are running a scam here.
Recently I broke my Sony Xperia phone and looked into getting it fixed. It was € 160 to fix here. Extremely expensive, but after shopping around that it what it seemed to be. They «fixed» it, and immediately I could sense that the screen wasn’t as responsive as before yet not bad enough to bring it back and complain.
Then, within two weeks the phone broke in my pocket! Took it out and the screen was cracked again with zero impact or fall.
Rava, the man of the shop, greeted me with accusations and refused to fix it despite the fact there was a «1-​year warranty» on faulty parts. Apparently self-​breaking screens doesn’t come in under their version of «faulty».
On top of that, I got a «good offer» to have the phone fixed again for € 100, which I obviously refused.
They’re running a con job here. Putting on faulty parts and charging € 100 every time it breaks on its own.

When visiting Dublin in September 2014, I brought my PS Vita handheld gaming device in to the shop for a diagnostic. The total value of the system, game disc inside, and multiple downloaded games was over 400 Euros. I made sure to ask the shopkeeper, Rava, that it would only take a day or two as I would be leaving for Belfast soon. I paid him the 10 Euro diagnostic fee and he gave me a business card with his first name and phone number.
I came by every day and wound up extending my stay by almost a week, and he kept saying it would be back soon as it had been sent away. When I finally had to leave, he assured me that it would be shipped back to me in the US if I paid the mailing expense.
For several months I called Rava, until he just said that it was broken and irreparable. I asked him to ship it to me anyway in order to see if someone else could fix it. He said that he would, and that he still had my address. I assume that he simply sold it as he knew that it was unlikely that I would be returning to the country anytime soon.
This shop and employee are thieves and predators and should be avoided at all costs.
