This is a great alternative shop right in Temple Bar. They have a great t-shirt collection, some cool tops, and a good selection of alternative accessories like rings, spikes, and bracelets. Whenever I am doing a bit of clothes shopping Fresh is always on my list of places to visit.

Fresh caters to a very distinct clientele: punks, goths and badasses both real and fake. I really enjoy seeing all the fun, and sometimes crazy stuff these kinds of stores sell, but I sometimes feel awkward doing so in my boring old regular clothes. Luckily, the staff just ignored me so I could browse in peace, but the store is teeny tiny, so it’s hard not to feel like you’re under a bit of a microscope. Still, it’s a fun place that sells all sorts of pleather, plaid, and spiked gear for girls and guys. I was pleased to see they sell affordable real leather jackets(95 euros) but I am guessing the quality isn’t great. It reminded me of a line in Infinite Jest in which David Foster Wallace describes a character wearing a «cheesy off-the-rack leather jacket of stiff cheap leather that makes the jacket creak when he breathes.» So I steered clear.
