There is precious little to recommend about this lane — in a pinch, you could use it as temporary shelter from the rain, but the smell would soon drive you back out into the downpour. Colloquially known as «Piss Alley», this place is frequented by shady looking characters and hurrying, disgusted-looking tourists. Memorably, on Arthur Guinness Day in September, it was briefly warmed by the spectacle of a skip in flames.
