Indigo & Cloth

I’m writing a review just for the coffee and chocolate they have here.
Great atmosphere, nice barista, and although I won’t write home about my espresso, I am a major fan of stealth cafes in modest corners of creative spaces.
The shop looked pretty cool too– but we were too short on time to check it out properly.
Also (and this is what lured me in), the hot chocolate was dreamy. Stretched milk with real chocolate on a stick inside that melts into the milk as you stir.
‘Nuff said.

I’ve featured it on my blog and in free-​lance work in the past but hadn’t been in a while so it was great to revisit on Unilocal #DublinDesignNight — they were showcasing and launching their latest design project the Dyflin Chair and Magazine Holder — the chair is stylish, fabulous and surprisingly comfortable — at € 900+ it’ll make a great addition to those who support and can afford to support Irish Furniture Design like this.
Back to the shop and you can grab a coffee and a seat in Indigo and Cloth after you’ve shopped upstairs in their men’s boutique. I love the international designer wear the house. It’s stylish and most items can be the staple to your wardrobe — on trend but not faddy. If you like your coffee and design it’s definitely worth a visit — whether you’re men’s clothes shopping or not.

I’m quite a regular at Clemont & Peckoe on South William street, so I decided to check out this place too! Indigo & Cloth doesn’t really feel like a café nor a clothes shop, more like something in between. It’s quite small with limited seats for only about 6 people total, but the atmosphere feels quite hip and modern with nice music in the background. The coffee tastes great, they have a few books left to read on the desk and a nice selection of one-​off unique items. I’d be more inclined to get a take away coffee than sit-​in, as the door was open all the time as well so it was a bit chilly.
Overall, worth checking out if your in the area!

Definitely worth a look.
This is a trendy guys clothes store that has a small filter coffee bar inside. The coffee and tea is from Clement and Pekoe. Oms.
They clothes are nice but pricey.
They had run out of cups when we stopped in for coffee, but it just meant that we got to have a nice chat with the owner while a staff member had run up to Clement and Pekoe to get more cups.
There is a small selection of clothing items and accessories on the ground floor along with the coffee bar and then upstairs there is a larger selection of clothes.
My 3 star rating is mostly based on the fact that I amn’t the biggest fan of filter coffee, and also that I thought the clothes were slightly overpriced. However, the staff were super lovely, and the I loved the rugged, slightly warehousey feel of the shop.

This is a pretty good shop for unusual basics. They do mostly jeans, shirts and jumpers, but with a twist. Brands include Nom de Guerre, Edwin and Lee Jeans and apart from Lee Jeans I hadn’t heard of any of them before. When you walk into the shop– beware of the stairs by the way, they can get quite slippery when it’s raining– the staff will greet you with a friendly ‘Hi’ and a smile and then leave you alone to have a look around. I’ve never seen the shop busy, maybe because it’s in the basement so people tend to walk right past it, but if you like trendy basics, this is a good place to check.
