Wow, quite a surprise. Deserves the «Why have I never came here before?» label
In essence, they do bagels. And they’re good! Tasteful, with a good amount of veggies in them as well.
On top of that they’re quick and efficient. Some tables there if you prefer to have your bagel there.

This place makes delicious breakfast and lunch bagels, and they’re super fast at it. With marked vegan options, I totally fell in love and had to get a second bagel to-​go (or, as the locals say, ‘for take-​away’).

Ah you really can’t beat a nice bagel and what’s more? It’s in Arnotts, basically. Although at peak times you’ll wait 15 minutes for a Bagel, it’s worth it. Also you’ll enjoy a window seat looking out at the passers by. Nice for a quick-​ish lunch.

Everybody knows those graving for a good Bagel and you think oh yea so many options about Dublin –well now consider being coecliac and pretty much all options are out of the possible… but no worries help is on the way…
I just randomly walked in at Itsa the other day and thought well I could give it a try and could ask if they stock GF Bagel-​did not have high hopes as usual but wait a minute-​what was this super shiny and welcoming sign which made my face lighten up «Yes we do glutenfree bagels just ask the staff»
So only a few more obstacles down the food allergy path which kept me from digging into my «Annie approved «Bagel!
By double/​three time checking the ingredients of the sauces and taking things off or adding with the really friendly and patient staff «no sorry cant have this nor that, but this could work mhmm let me think is there mustard in the dressing???(3h later…) «
After all we finally agreed that the Magnum G.I. Glutenfree bagel is the best option after changing it a bit to my needs ;)
I had a cappuccino with it and my Bagel Breakfast was complete and I was happy and satisfied with a fresh and tasty GF Bagel which I was aching for a long time…
So next time no running around town just straight to Itsa Bagel on Abbey streets and happy days ahead for me ;)

Was back in here on Sat afternoon, after a heavy night on Friday, and itsa’s bagels were such a good choice!
Had the Gourmet Veggie option– poppy seed bagel with (take a deep breath.!) goats cheese, lettuce, roasted red pepper, homemade relish, hummus and olive tapenade. It was amazing! So fresh, and surprisingly light considering the amount they fill the bagel with. All for € 5.85. washed down with a very decent size mug (yes, mug!) of coffee. Was all set to go for later on, and didn’t get that guilty «I just gorges myself» feeling. Will definitely become a regular!

I’m usually not a fan of shopping-​mall lunches, but after a quick wander around Arnotts with a friend who only had 20 minutes left of her lunch break and needed energy quick, we grabbed a table outside.
And itsa actually surprised the hell out of us. Well, I wasn’t really expecting much, but the bagle was tasty, not the crap you get at the Bagel Factory. Shared a mango and passionfruit smoothie with my friend which was really refreshing. The service was quick, so we even had time for coffee. Sadly, coffee-​making is not itsa’s strong suit. The coffee was weak and watery.
So, if hunger strikes when inside Arnotts, come here for a quick bite and go someplace else for coffee.

Once located in the Epicurean Food Hall, itsa… got a face-​lift and a name-​change when it moved to its new digs in the department store Arnotts. The new location has plenty more space: it apparently seats 50 people now.
But the menu hasn’t changed and the bagels are still as delicious as ever. I have to admit that being originally from Montréal, the land of bagels, I’m sucker for this type of bread. itsa… makes wonderful combinations such as The Californian and The Deluxe. I don’t mind paying the 6 Euro because I don’t feel cheated when I bite into avocado, mozzarella and basil mayo.
They do offer cheaper options like the one where you can get a toasted buttered bagel and a tea/​coffee for 3 Euro. Breakfast of champions!
