Joe’s Coffee

Cute little place, this!
I’ve popped in here a few times now, and i’m always struck first of all by that lovely fresh barista coffee aroma but also by the Ipod-​like white interior. Sounds strange, but it always reminds me of entering a café in Greece… and it’s no mean feat for a Dublin City Centre caff to remind me of Greece during some of the pissiest weather this city has seen in, like, forev’s!
Also, nice selection of chocolate treats and other assorted coffee cakes and tarts. Don’t forget that there is seating upstairs. The place is quite deceptive in that it seems small from the outside, but there’s plenty of seating and it’s rarely packed. Give it a go sometime! Oh, and the coffee is pretty good too. Forgot about that!

Love the coffee here… It’s a fantastic place to grab a really great barista made coffee, the flat whites are truly great! They also have pre-​made sandwiches available for sale and from the counter, plenty of sweet treats and pastry delights, if you fancy.

You sly fox, you. Looking all unassuming from across the little Montague alleyway at me. Making eyes. Looking hot. And foamy. And built like a brick house. All tough on the outside but well appointed and stylish on the inside.
Oh, what the kale (x2). I’ll give it a go, sweep me off my feet Joe. Spirulina balls? Well, well, well (ahem!). A big glass bottle of carrot juice? Who needs champagne when the ginger tickles your fancy like this?! So romantic.

Obviously, I love this place. It’s everything you want a high end coffee joint to be with the 8 euro juices to prove it. It’s class and gorgeous and exactly where I want to spend my money on kale and coffee. Get that kale salad, I am still weeping for it…
