Live entertainment has long been a trademark at Johnnie Fox’s and continues to this day.

Enjoy a traditional music session with one of our many house bands or singers, or an authentic Irish dance show with the world-​renowned Johnnie Fox’s dancers. During the winter, settle down by one of our cosy turf fires and while the winter days and evenings away listening to our evocative and talented storytellers.

Our traditional live entertainment shows run 7 nights a week, and throughout the day on Saturday and Sundays. Our award-​winning seafood kitchen is also open for food every day from 12.30hrs. Our chefs are a dedicated team of qualified professional chefs who take pride in their work.

Situated approximately 30 minutes drive from Dublin City centre, we look forward to extending a warm welcome to all our guests and inviting them to a most memorable experience.

History

Established in 1798.

Famed as the «Highest Pub in Ireland» it is also one of the oldest and is a quintessential part of any visit to Ireland for anyone interested in great scenery, excellent food, friendly service — all in one of the most unique settings in Ireland — a living museum of Irish life.
