Description

Specialties

Restaurant & Wine Bar in Dublin City Centre. Warm, friendly, courteous old school, in the sense that the customer is nearly always right! New school in the products we use, the delivery and the little bit of this, a little bit of that — some from here, some from there menu.

Then there is the décor, the vibe and the music — It is all Very Jules!

Jules serves good honest tasting food & delicious wines. Satisfyingly good food on every level — food without the food snobbery! Bringing back the comfort classics and adding a few of our own… Smaller or Larger Plates… Something to satisfy everybody’s cravings with great food, wine, cocktails and music.

History

Established in 2015.

Formally Les Freres Jacques, the restaurant has been completely refurbished and has now opened it’s doors as JULES. Jules will be serving really good global comfort food. Honest, good, tasty food, that we all crave from around the world. A concise but excellent menu, accompanied by a selection of delicious wines, all reasonably priced. Served with a smile and a personal touch, enjoyed by our customers in a very stylish, yet a perfectly casual dining environment.

Meet the Business Owner

Jules C.

Business Owner

I started working for my father at age 15 helping out where needed in our restaurant, at this very address, every weekend and here began my love affair with the restaurant industry. Having travelled and trained extensively abroad and worked in the likes of Catalina — Sydney, The European — Melbourne, The Providores — London, I decided it was time to come home and take over the reigns of my father’s beloved and well known restaurant, Les Freres Jacques. So that brings me to the present day. With the experience and guidance of my father, Jean Jacques, combined with my passion, knowledge and love for good food and wine, we can create something really new and special at 74 Dame Street. I want to make Jules the next big thing in Dublin, and one that will be here to stay.
