Cute little place with the best muffins I’ve ever had, although quite expensive altogether! Nicely decorated with good music playing, I’ve had a very lovely breakfast there and would definitely go back next time I’ll visit Dublin!

Such a handy little coffee shop to get to in the city centre! They actually do serve good coffee here at a reasonable price. Staff are lovely! It’s a straight to the point coffee shop

Very busy café near grafton street. They have the most delicious muffins and scones. The scones are HUGE! Nearly everyday they sell out if their raspberry scones-that’s just how good they are. They have a great breakfast and lunch menu. I’ve only have breakfast here. It’s quite small but I believe people must go just to try their muffins! Yum yum yum!!! Scrambled eggs here are a safe option and I’m sure their full fry is just as nice.

A disappointing 2 stars. I was lured here by a pear scone and I am a sucker for a good pear scone. The scones arrived and looked small and pityfull accompanied by the smallest portion of jam that I have ever seen which was served in a timble sized paper thingy. Very little pear in the scone which was dense and not very nice. The scone then lodged in my gut for the next 3 hours. The coffee was very good but failed to wash it down. Perhaps I picked the wrong thing but with so many places to choose from I doubt I would go back.

Lots to choose from but I went with an Americano and an apple and walnut scone. I asked them to swap the butter with flora(bit of a shame they don’t ask preference!) The service seemed a little slow — in that I was left standing waiting to order while one member made coffee with her back to me and another could see me but kept on with clearing dishes away. We came on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t that full so it’s not like they were under pressure. Was a little disappointed by the size of the jam that came with it so I didn’t bother using it. The only reasons I’m not giving this a two is because I enjoyed my coffee as it was v good and the scone was fab. Loved the texture of it and it was just the right level of sweetness. Would I come back though? No, I don’t think I would!

Gorgeous food in a nice, small shop. Their muffins are incredible, maybe the best I’ve ever had! It’s pricey and a bit cramped but I would definitely come back

I swung through on my way to a record store, and just wanted to hop on the wifi. I was pleasantly surprised with the kind staff, quick service, and tasty/well-priced Chai Latte! AND speedy wifi! Definitely worth a stop by, tourists!

I came here based on Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed! The ding room is a wee bit cozy, but the food is good(the coffee is excellent), the prices are decent, and the service is fast & friendly. A great place for breakfast!

I’m encouraged by the rest of the reviews to go back here and try the sweeter stuff, because the lunch I had was nothing to write home about. I had the marinaded chicken ciabatta which was decent, if quite greasy. It came with a small side salad which seemed a little less than fresh– or perhaps just needed a nice dressing! The staff are lovely though when I arrived there was just one girl and she was swept off her feet so the place was full of tables which hadn’t been cleaned. Not her fault of course. The outside seating is really lovely and unfortunately had been snagged just as I arrived. I had a coffee too which was grand, but I’ll be back for those muffins.

Fantastic muffins here! I had the blueberry and coconut one and damn I wanted a second even though these muffins are massive! This is one of the few places open on Sunday early(other than Starbucks and McDonald’s and that says enough!). Staff are friend and really helpful(they swapped all my annoying change into larger amounts for me). Oh and im bit of a coffee snob and the coffee is decent… which says a lot!

Delicious coffee, not the hype of a Starbuck, but really the same quality. I used to grab a white chocolate coffee and a scone on my way to work. They also have some baked goods on special, so you can save a euro or two and have a great morning pick-me-up!

Lovely place to stop by for a quick coffee! The muffin’s here are just the best in Dublin — seriously. It is perfect for take away, because the place is a kinda of super small and you need to be lucky to get a table.

Its always busy here– they opened another outlet backing onto this one. The coffee is great and they do lovely homemade muffins and scones. Catherine who is one of the owners is always looking after everyone making sure everyone gets served quickly. I work around the corner and I would say I pop in at least twice a week in the mornings. I havent sat in for food but they do a nice selection of hot and cold dishes.

Great muffin selection for all my fellow muffin-lovers! Great service and an excellent location for a quick sugar-fix(or a savoury one as they do have a menu for that as well). Will definitely go again to try out the other flavours!

Really good selection of scones and muffins. Good service too and very friendly staff. The place has a nice outdoor seating with nice lighting. I would suggest it especially in this time of the year.

Hmmmm, maybe I should have had the muffins or the scones and not the lunch, because I wasn’t really that impressed with the place. And my food was ok. It filled a gap. I had the chicken burrito and it came with a little side salad. It was ok. The seating was a bit crammed and the staff were friendly and helpful, but it wasn’t the best experience I’ve ever had. Ho hum.

Saved us on our first hunt for a later –ish breakfast in Dublin. So many places to choose from but where would we find good food and not be on the clock for«breakfast severed till —«. With a sweet and laid back atmosphere we could enjoy our wonderfully cooked eggs, my favorite breakfast sausages I’ve tried yet, and those little steamed tomatoes I’ve been looking forward to with breakfast– everything on the Irish breakfast plate was DEelish! We got the full Irish breakfast to share and it was a perfect amount to let you keep strolling through the pretty streets without feeling so full. :) They had wi-if and happily helped us with the password, was one of the few places we could get our phones to work so looking up «what’s next» was fun. Wish we had more breakfasts and lunches to try other things on the menu, anyhow breakfast being one of my favorite foods at anytime of the day, would happily suggest this little gem to anyone to pop into for a nice little brake in the day, sandwich break, coffee break, anything with a smile brake :)

Best Muffins in town, great coffee and very affordable food(huge portions). Can get a little crowded, but those muffins are worth fighting for.

I’ve been meaning to write this for a while but life — you know — it just keeps happening. Anyways. I worked across from Keogh’s for four years. I’m not overwhelmed by their sandwiches /salads /soups /coffees /etc. I find them all to be uncompromisingly mediocre. However, their muffins. Ohhhh, their muffins. Their muffins are good. That said — I’m not really into muffins. I’m an American and thus, prefer my breakfast starch in bagel or pancake form. But my partner loves muffins. Keoghs muffins, specifically. So one afternoon, being the thoughtful girlfriend that I am, I decided to surprise my partner with a delicious Keoghs muffin. I went in, ordered one blueberry coconut muffin, and to my absolute DELIGHT, the kind man behind the counter said«would you like a free scone with that?» … Excuse me? A free scone?! Does that happen in this world? Do people really give away free scones? For nothing? He was not joking. He was staring back at me with kind, sincere eyes. He was truly offering me a free scone — presumably because it was late in the day and he was going to have to toss them in the bin at the end of his shift. Whatever. The point is — my day was made by this act of kindness. My faith in humanity bolstered. I thanked him profusely and ran into the street shouting ‘Free Scones! By George! Free scones!“ I didn’t do that. But I did say«I am so pleasantly surprised by that act of kindness that I am going to leave a positive Unilocal review» — So here we are. Truly great muffins. Ever better customer service.

Keogh’s really do make the best muffins in town and for 2.10euro it’s a real bargain considering their size. The pear and vanilla one is my favourite and I’m so glad I no longer work in town and get pulled into Keogh’s every morning by the smell of cinnamon and coffee. My waistline couldn’t handle it. I can’t really comment on the service. The mornings are busy and they staff try to please everyone as quickly as they can cause most people are on their way to work. I never sat down for lunch or coffee here but it’s always packed so I guess that’s a good sign.

Nice place. Nice waiter. Arrogant lady behind the counter. I didnt like her behavior. Never greetings. I did not feel like a customer here. I can not evaluate such good company. The food was good — not amazing.

Best Muffins Ever! I’ve tried to make some as good as those but it’s always a failure! And just for that, they deserve four stars. On the other way, the waiters are not very welcoming and not really people-who-don’t-speak-good-english friendly! if it’s take away, go for it! I dare you to find better Muffins! They also sell other stuff but except for scones(which are not as good as Avoca’s) and other stuff I did not try…

In hindsight and having read over the other reviews I should have gotten a scone or a muffin because they did look pretty good but it was lunchtime and I was starving so I went for something more substantial and got a chicken, cheese and pesto wrap. The wrap itself was only okay nothing to write home about but what really disappointed me was the side ‘salad’ and chips that came with it. The salad was just a few lettuce leaves and a bit of a tomato and the chips were what I’d expect in a bog standard run of the mill café, The coffee was fine but as other reviewers have pointed out service was only okay and I know this is a weird gripe but I really hated the chairs, they were those terrible rickety wooden ones that just aren’t comfortable to sit on. I would go back to get a takeaway scone or muffin but definitely wouldn’t be getting a wrap again any time soon.

I so enjoy stopping by this place for a muffin and a cup of coffee as often as possible I have only had soup for lunch and it is very good. Limited seating. The staff has high turnover and they are not very attentive. They do the bare minimum for you.

It’s all about the scones baby! I have to physically stop myself buying a scone every single time I walk past Keoghs in the morning with the amazing smell of baking wafting out the doors… the brown cinnamon raisin is my current favourite but I’d really settle for any of them, warm with melted butter and the required cup of strong tea of course! Five stars!!!
