I had a pot of tea and the mocha cake for just under 6 euros. The café is a tiny counter with a cafeteria-​looking sitting room meant to pass time before your tour, but the cake was pretty darn good! It was moist and creamy and just what I needed for a pick-​me-​up.

I got a hot chocolate here while waiting for my tour of the jail — i mean gaol — to start. It was not bad, but not great. There are worse ways to spend 10 minutes while waiting for a tour to start.
