Great food just don’t place an order over the phone for collection. Twice I have been waiting for 45min after placing my order by phone for collection. All sorts of excuses and then final insult to injury I was accused of giving them a fake 50e.

It’s very good. The ¼ Pounder with Bacon is marvelous! The service is very quick. In next time, I gonna buy Pulled Pork Burger, ’cause I saw in site and looks like be fantastic.

In an area full of take away spots, Macaris stands out among the competition. Although you can get pizza and chips at a dozen other local shops, Macaris is the only chipper in Inchicore where you can get a proper fish and chips, burger, or southern fried chicken. I must say, they have very good chicken and the cod is spot on as well. One thing — stay clear of the ‘cod portion’ which they offer as a box meal for a fiver, as it is by no means as nice as the fresh cod filets they have there. You might save a few quid, but there is no substitute for the fresh cod. They also deliver, which makes it even more attractive if you are in the mood for something other than pizza or Chinese.
