Mao is a good spot for a quick takeaway, I’m a big fan of Asian food and have a special love of green curry, theirs is pretty damn good but can sometimes be a bit too spicy for my liking! Nasi Goring is also lovely here if you’re in the mood for something different! Nice comfort food overall

New Mao sit-​in/​take-​out/​delivery in Ballinteer next to Superquinn. This is a good place if your looking for some quick Asianfusion. I definitely welcome it to the area with such few take out Asian places in the area. Your Thai-​pad noodles and spring rolls and curries are the staple of dishes. Good for quick eats but it’s not proper sit down Asian restaurant — more like the McD’s of Asian food (and I mean that as a compliment cause I DO like McD’s!)
