I hate doing this because he seems like a nice guy but his work and customer service is terrible.
He didn’t tighten one particular radiator which resulted in a leak from an upstairs bedroom onto the sitting room ceiling, which had to be repainted. (I didn’t make a fuss about this and said not to worry as this could happen to anyone).
He didn’t tighten the pipe in outside tank properly which resulted in oil leaking from the tank into the garden. (I said that was ok, it was only a small leak)
He didn’t collect the old rusty oil burner which sat in the garden for over a month, which meant that I couldn’t let my toddler play on her own in the back garden. (I said that was ok as he mentioned he was away in England)
(Very forgiving on my part I think.)
Now, 2 of the radiators aren’t working and it appears that the brand new oil burner is leaking oil onto the garden. I’ve been trying to contact him for over 2 months, but he rarely answers. He said he would come out one Monday evening. I left work early but he never turned up. He said he would come out on the bank holiday Monday. I stayed around all that day but he never turned up, or contacted me).
It’s unbelievable bad service. Like I said, he seems like a nice guy but after months of trying to contact him, I’m still without heating in 2 rooms. I have been really taken for a fool by him.
