Loved it here! Such a cute place to go to for a relaxing tea break! The service was great! Staff are lovely! I bought some tea that had peach in it and it was amazing!!! Gluten free treats are here too!

This is one of those places that you don’t even notice when you pass by. ERROR! Because if you don’t you’ll miss the amazing Chai Latte they make and if combine it with a piece of Cheesecake you won’t be disapointted! :)
On the other hand, the carrot cake did disappoint me… :(

You wouldn’t especially notice this place on the street but that’s a mistake you’re making. This café packs more flavours of teas and coffees than actually makes sense. The huge shelf of all these giant glass jars makes it feel like you’ve stepped into a café in the Harry Potter universe.
The lighting is nice and low, giving your eyes a break from the harshness of the outside world. They serve good food here for them cheap prices (€ 5 for salad and wrap hello). They allegedly do pizzas as well which I’m going to have to convince someone to come with me to try (on a side note: want to go for a pizza?)
I’ve been adventurous and tried a few of their coffees and whether it’s praline coffee or cinnamon coffee, I’ve been left feeling «mmmmhmmm that’s a good cup of coffee»
In true Harry Potter fashion there’s a hidden downstairs that’s super comfortable with lots of couches. Find this downstairs area and revel in its comfortableness.
I recommend this place to everyone who likes coffee, cheap food and relaxing… did I leave anyone out?

This is my preferred home away from home in Dublin. After moving here two years ago I searched and searched for a place to feel at home. I was not a hot tea drinker, those of us from the Southeastern USA take it Sweet and Cold. But my first winter here I needed to find a warm drink and Coffee is not to my tasting. I had no idea what I liked and what I didn’t like. The staff who are amazingly nice and knowledgable helped me navigate the world of tea. They have helped me settle on my tried and true standard of Assam Mangalam, but often suggest other things when they think I might be weary. If you are ever caught with the sniffles then make sure you ask for the detox tea. They blend several things, it will help you get rid of a head cold. There must be a hundred teas in here. Or more. Something for everyone. They have a great selection of coffee which all of my friends say is amazing. But I cannot comment since I am not a coffee drinker, but it sure smells nice. They have a small food menu containing soup, salad, flatbreads, wraps etc. And I think it is nice for a café of this size. And of course baked goods that are nice and yummy.
I recommend this little place to anyone and bring all my guests here. Its nice, cozy, and has a great downstairs for working or socialising. Be careful you could fall asleep on the couches.

This place is a great asset to the café culture of Dublin.

I was in here, and it had a feeling of Zen. I had the Chai Tea. Orgasm in a cup. Best I’ve ever had. Chai tea that is I would give it ten stars if I had them.

If you find Accents a bit down and out, only a few doors down waits this tea shop — my favourite spot in Dublin city centre for an cúpan tae! A good mix of people comes in here, the downstairs area is quite smart, with lovely big tables and couches. The tea selection can be quite overwhelming, but the staff are always happy to make recommendations, and the staff are lovely, really friendly and accommodating.
The only failing in my eyes would be the food — the pizzas are expensive for what they are, very basic with the novelty of tea instead of herbs being sprinkled on top. Having tried them on two separate occasions they were skimpy on the cheese and tomato sauce. A friend of mine had the minestrone soup recently and couldn’t finish it as it was too salty and overcooked. I’m not keen on the cakes either, but they do offer a gluten free option which a couple of my friends appreciate.
The upstairs area stays open til 10pm, which is great if you’re meeting a friend at the weekend and want to actually hold a conversation instead of shouting in a crowded bar. I’d come here for the tea and atmosphere (if there’s not a noisy group of tourists in), great spot to lounge for a couple of hours, or get some work done.

I finally found my ultimate tea shop/​café! It’s been a long hard slog, with many ‘nearly its’ and a few dodgy break ups (like Foam, who went from love to hate in three dates!)
But I truly think I’ve found my one and only.
Oolong is a late night coffee shop that has a massive (like really massive!) collection of loose leaf herbal teas, the names of which provide entertainment while you queue. The atmosphere is super relaxed, the staff are friendly and warm and the seating is cosy, both upstairs and down. In a central location it’s the perfect place to stop off day or night (they open quite late) and grab a cuppa.
Not only that, but oolong do really great food too. Pizza and dessert for € 15 that would easily do two people-​now you can’t argue with that.

Accents a bit jammed? Still dying for a cuppa? Then just basically take two steps to your right and you’re outside Oolong Flower Power Tea Shop.
To be fair to Oolong Flower Power Tea Shop (try saying that really fast, three times) I didn’t actually have a cup of tea. Was I impressed by its vast display of tea? Of course, but it’s all a bit «look at me and my ker-​azy selection of random tea and gluten free cake». It’s just too much. Even the downstairs seating area — which granted, has some seriously comfy couches — has a bang of pretentiousness off it that would knock even the most far out and edgy hipster.
I had a cup of coffee for 2.40, and it was grand. I may have considered getting a slice of something which was gluten free, but I just couldn’t be sure the plate it was resting on didn’t have traces of gluten on it, so that put a stop to my plan fairly sharpish.
It was a real whirlwind of emotions visiting Oolong Flower Power Tea Shop, real whirlwind.

This is a welcome addition to the dublin coffee and tea shop scene! I love the big jars of loose tea and there service in china cups.
I have heard the downstairs is fantastic but I’ve only been to the top floor so far.
This is now my go to place for purchase loose tea, primarily for its huge variety and fresh produce. I highly recommend the Calming tea blend which is a peppermint tea with lemon balm, lavender and passion flower. It’s a beautiful tea to have any time of the day. I purchase mine in 90kg amounts for 4.50. I’m still making my way through this package an it feels great value for money so far. I also purchase a green tea called Organic Las Palmas. It a green tea with dates, raisins and lemon myrtle leaves. For a green tea it’s really refreshing. It’s strong in flavour so if your like me who likes something purer in the morning I would recommend it for a afternoon or evening.
I would give them 5 stars but I have to dock them one for there service. It’s not as inviting as there neighbors and I tend to feel rushed by there demeanor when asking them for more info on there teas. A friendlier welcome and more engaging conversation would make this place a 5 star spot.

I found this an interesting little tea shop and café, selling all kinds of teas as well as coffee and food. It’s quite dim lit and downstairs is even more so; a tad bit eerie though. They have pizza, salads, sandwiches and some hot food on the menu. I ordered one of the salads but I didn’t really like it so I ate just half (too flowery in taste.), and the matcha latte was too much as well, so I ended up wasting half…
The teas they sell are really nice though, and being able to combine 2 is pretty cool.
I’m only giving 3 stars because I didn’t like the food, and the atmosphere is too dim and I felt kind of uncomfortable.

I have heard a lot about Oolong Flower Power Tea Shop and have wanted to pop in for ages (I mean the name is just brilliant!). It was better than I even thought. I loved the atmosphere, really relaxed. The choice of tea is very extensive and I really loved the vintage tea sets they used!
I also had a sneaky bit of cheese cake and it was really lovely!
There is loads of seating downstairs and the atmosphere down there is just great. I will definitely be popping in next time I am in the area!

I came here last wednesday for the Unilocal night, which was a free introduction to «Oolong Tea Flower Power». It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Oolong offers a brilliant alcohol free alternative for chilling out with a friend or family member in a relaxed social environment without having to resort to a drinking in a pub.
Richard the owner of Oolong hosted us for almost two hours sharing his expert insight, and the rich history of the various teas catered for at his establishment. He treated us to a variety of generous tea samples that are served at oolong. I have never tasted tea so rich in flavour or that smelled so good. He also provided us with a selection of his mouth watering original tizzas (Pizzas infused with tea leaves). They were absolutely delicious, each bite was bursting with flavour.

It was an uplifting, positive and rewarding experience of mind, body, and soul. I have already been back to try more of the tea on offer. I highly recommend Oloong for anyone who has a taste for tea, coffee, great food and enjoys relaxing in a peaceful, tranquil environment.

Why-​Oh-​God-​Why is this place not more famous in Dublin!?!
To start, not only does OFP house the largest selection of teas in this city of avid tea-​drinkers, but they also do speciality coffee for those who live for their morning/​afternoon fix. What’s more, they infuse some of their coffee beans! This means you can enjoy a cuppa-​jo with a hint of hazelnut, or baileys cream, or vanilla, without the addition of those god-​awful diabetes-​inducing syrups

I was sceptical of the Teazza, I must admit, but I was thrilled I did try it int he end because it was nothing short of sensational. Honestly, the fact that the tomato sauce had been infused with tea completely slipped my mind as I devoured my plate of deliciousness in under 6 minutes.
They also do an authentic matcha green tea latte, served in the traditional ceramic bowl. Again, although I was sceptical of this green drink. However, I finished it I was already thinking about the next opportunity I’d have during the week to come back and get another!

Who likes tea? Oolong likes tea! Yes it does uz uzzzz.
This is a wonderfully kept secret in Dublin for me to reveal to the masses! They have an array of teas, we’re talking 100’s to choose from. Also if your more of a coffee addict don’t worry they have you covered with about 50 different types.
The ingredients are responsibly sourced and effectively displayed as you walk in the door you’re greeted with a sea of glass jars.
Also you’ll be immersed into the scents of fine tea and coffee from around the world which I can assure you is quite a dandy experience.
Now onto the tasting, you’re in for a treat. The staff are helpful and let you take the lids off the different jars to get a whiff of what to expect. Some are extremely rich that will make you wince others are so soft and delicate you want to stick them in your bathroom! Whatever your taste have a chat with the knowledgeable staff to get a better idea.
I do recommend going downstairs, sure you’re underground with no sunlight but don’t let that deter you as you’ll be lit by stunning Parisian chandeliers instead and you may recline on the oh so classy and sophisticated leather sofas.

Strap yourselves in folks, this is a big ‘un! In summary for those of you who might get bored of reading — if you like pizza, tea & cake go here!
I’m going to be completely honest & say i only went here at all because i won a free pizza (or teazza as they call it) & tea meal for two in a Unilocal Facebook competition. I had only ever popped my head in the door once before but as i know nothing about tea so it was always a little intimidating for me.
We arrived in & they had the table by the door reserved for us, possibly one of their better tables as it’s got lots of room while the other three tables upstairs are quite close together. Anyway, my fiancé & i are both recovering from a flu so thinking it best to sit away from the door we asked to move & the staff kindly found us a seat & even rearranged the furniture to be sure we had a better place to sit.
We were given the menu to choose our pizza & tea & advised that if we preferred we could walk around the store & smell the tea as a way to help us chose! So we did the obligatory walk about the shop, both to timid to get up close enough to sniff the tea, but we made a decision & sat back down to order. I ordered a pizza with chorizo & mozzarella and the other half ordered a classic hawaiian. You’ll have to forgive my ignorance on the names of teas as it was all so overwhelming, but i got a blooming lily tea & my fiancé ordered another blooming one that was described on the menu as «2 dragons chasing a pear» or something fantastically ridiculous like that.
Our tea arrived in a glass tea pots so we could watch the tea balls blossom. My tea was great, but in the advice of a server who knew i had minimal tea experience, i took the tea out after 5 minutes & truth be told i probably would have preferred the tea had i not taken it out so soon. While we were drinking our tea the chef arrived with a beautiful amuse bouche — smoked salmon on guinness brown bread with crème fraîche. Absolutely delicious and a nice surprise too! We were both impressed & getting a little excited for the mains.
The pizza came fairly quickly after our amuse bouche. At first glance it looked a little small and honestly i was disappointed, more concerned with the giant appetite of my fiancé than myself! With that said i was very full when i was done & more than happy with the portion i got, as was my fiancé i am happy to report! The pizza itself was almost perfect. Super super thin crust meaning crispy edges. The ingredients on the pizza were delicious and an excellent quality; the chorizo was delicious and meaty with almost no gristly/​fatty bits you would normally expect, the buffalo mozzarella was sliced thin enough to be sure it melted the whole way through but not so thin that you might miss it on the pizza and the sauce was delicious, possibly one of the best pizza flavours in Dublin City Centre. The reason it’s only almost perfect & not absolutely perfect is that the centre of the pizzas was a little soggy — that’s an awful word but really it takes nothing away from the food — it’s just a result of a super thin crust and an a generous helping of toppings. The pizza was so good in fact that i even had a generous helping of the hawaiian pizza despite the fact that i firmly disagree with any fruit other than tomato in savoury food!
After pizza we got dessert, i had the millionaire shortbread & my fiancé had the carrot cake. The millionaire shortbread was among the best i’ve had anywhere & the carrot cake was delicious too (albeit a little small when compared to the size of any of the other dessert options). The place was really busy but as soon as they had time one of the servers came & helped us to pick out a second tea to go with our desserts. She brought a jar each over & let us smell each before we agreed on one! I had a cherry/​banana red tea blend which was sweet and bitter at the same time. My fiancé had a ginger and cinnamon blend of white tea.
Overall this place is a 4.5 out of 5. I cant give it 5 stars because as i mentioned i do think they could improve the pizza very slightly. But i left the place nicely relaxed, well fed & with every intention of returning.
Try it! You’ll be pleasantly surprised i promise!

I am addicted to the Cinnamon Bun coffee! Not only do they have any flavored coffee bean imaginable, but you can also get them made into a latte, cappuccino, Americano or straight up espresso.
Super cool little coffee shop vibe. They have additional seating downstairs which is a bit more intimate.
If you don’t prefer one of their million kinds of coffee beans (crème brûlée, vanilla, Bailey’s, mint chocolate, hawaiian rum, pecan pie, and the list goes on) why don’t you try one of their 100 different loose leaf teas? If you want to try one, or ten, they are not pricey so they won’t break the bank. Drink in or take away. They have sambos, soups and little snacks as well if you’re not into tea or coffee.
I think this is going to be the new hot spot for tea and coffee in Dublin. i just love it!

Looking for all types of teas? You’ll most likely find it here my fellow Unilocalers! This place carries hundreds and hundreds of different types of tea combos. They carry black, green, and of course oolong teas. You can smell and smell and smell them all until your nose falls off. Some good smells, some nasty, some odd, some pleasant, and some very interesting. You just have to find the right aroma that you think will be soothing to your palate.
I wanted one unique black and one flavored green tea. I ended up choosing the Hot Pear and the Banana Liqueur. Both were only € 4.50 for a small bag. I brewed them at home, and just loved them. Tasty, and definitely unique. I simply felt relaxed drinking them! It was a natural high!
Regarding the store itself, they have tea infusers and cool little tins for sale. Need a cool gift idea? They have nice matching sets. Ceramic or cast iron sets from traditional, to modern, to Asian styles. This place also has a couple of tables inside so you can enjoy some of their fine pastries as well. Overall, it’s a place worth a smellin’!

This place is such a find. Over 300 different types of teas, not to mention about 20 or more different types of coffee, half of which are flavoured (cinnamon rolls anyone?) — the choice is overwhelming. Well, it would be if not for the wonderfully helpful staff who encourage, almost insist, you stick your nose into the lid of every jar. They are more than happy to make recommendations to help you narrow down your considerable options.
There is good eating to be had here too. They have a range of delicious pastries and cakes, as well as lunch and dinner fare. I had a coffee and a blueberry muffin-​type cake, both of which were yummy but together were a bit pricey at € 7+. However, my friend had a large bowl of soup, with several slices of bread, and a pot of tea for just € 1 more. There are also great lunch and dinnertime deals to be had here, so the price can indeed be right. At the moment they are doing a 25% discount on accessories, of which they have a very nice selection.
The décor is lovely, old-​world meets brick-​or-​brack. There is downstairs seating with large, super comfy leather couches and old trunks for tables. By the way, they also do tea parties!
