Rathgar Junior School

If you want your child to have happy memories of their school days, Rathgar Junior School is the place to send them.
It has a homely feel, not just because it is made up of two houses connected, but because of the community within the school. Everyone knows everyone elses name and the teachers are friends with the students, rather than enemies.
The school has great sporting achievements. It focuses on hockey in the winter term and has won both the 6^th class boys and girls cups many times before. It has produced two Irish u16 players in recent years. In summer tennis, cricketa and rounders are played.
It is a small school, there are only eight classes, with about 22 per class. This allows the teacher greater interaction with each individual student.
RJS (it’s abbreviation) really is a home from home.
