This place is nice for gift shopping. It’s a nice wee shopping mall just around the corner from Grafton Street, but because a lot of people tend to forget about it, it’s a lot less busy. There are none of the big chain stores here and even though the clothes shops such as Monaghan’s are maybe a bit mature you can still spend a nice time having a look around. And there is always Leonidas– a chocolate company. You can buy boxes of chocolates here and even select the chocolates that go into it if you want. And ‘Blooming Amazing’ do have some very nice flower arrangements.

This is one of the most forgotten shopping areas in Dublin. Unassuming and tucked away just off Dawson Street, it’s layout makes it cute and accessible. Essentially a connecting plaza, it’s lined with shops ranging from Swalk(nice, if expensive, stationary) to Leondis(posh chocolate) and the kinds of clothes shops that all look a bit the same. Either way, it’s a pleasant place to peruse if you’re looking to avoid the Grafton St area for a while, or just grab a cup of coffee and sit outside without hordes of people passing by, or being disturbed by people looking for money.
