Have eaten at this particular Saburritos a couple of times, just for convenience of location more than any love for the place. It’s pretty okay I find to be honest, far far from my favourites but ahead of Burritos and Blues and about on a par with Tolteca I reckon. I went for the crispy tacos with filling of chicken in two and lamb chorizo in the third. I should have plumbed for the lamb chorizo for the three of them, very tasty. Portions are a bit skimpy but where they really have it sewn up is lack of alternative eateries around this part of town.

We were strolling along O’Connell st and came across this place. I had ordered a chicken burrito bowl. Good flavored Mexican food(Irish version of Chipotle). The meat they use is kind of raw flavored with some spices. I found overall this Mexican delicacy restaurant as towards bland side. Had to ask couple of more spices to be added in the form of green sauce. Place is located at a busy street near the Dublin post office. Attracts a lot of customers. The staff is courteous and set an example of great hosts.

Total crap. Burritos are blander than the cardboard they’re seemingly made of and more expensive than any of the other burrito joints I’m town– go to little ass, boojum, or Pablo picante’s instead– life is too short for gray ‘ritos.

Thought Id give this place another go. Bit better this… .pulled beef is a quiet tasty and hot! Which I like, went for the hot salsa again but it lacks punch and I think this would be other bland meal if it wasn’t for the beef.

Tried this when they first opened up and was not impressed. Went back yesterday as my time was limited — very disappointing — I felt sick as there was so much salt I could hardly distinguish the taste of the beef from the beans etc. terrible — they shouldn’t be allowed to do that. Had to throw away after few bites — they should be reported — that has to in violation of some salt content rule — yuck!

If I had the option of no stars I would do so. The only thing going for it is the fact I didn’t get food poisoning. With the possible exception of Burrito’s and Orange, this is probably the worst Burrito I have ever had. Toasted and hard tortilla, disgusting meat, old lettuce etc and their hottest sauce was about as hot as ketchup. I couldn’t finish it and might as well have got a burrito from centra or somewhere. Avoid.

Saburritos is located in a good location(minus the junkies who congregate outside, I’ve never seen any inside), the interior is nice and the staff are friendly. That’s enough positives about this place, the food is terrible. The burritos are over stuffed with rice, contain barely any meat and the extras given for free in all other burrito places I’ve been to cost money in Saburrito, all this for € 7. It seems like the owner didn’t do any market research on other burrito bars in Dublin before opening up here. Boojum is a 5 minute walk away, go there instead.

I’ve traveled around this world a bit and I’m no stranger to Mexican cuisine. This is not it unfortunately. Been wanting to try Saburritos ever since it opened a new shop at the Spire. First impressions: The place is clean, staff attends to tables frequently. You’d think it would be a lunchtime venue, looked a little bleak at Noon Thirty. Main room needs more decoration and flare, still a little generic feeling. Upon ordering, I noticed they toasted their burrito tortillas. This is a no-no unless you’re making a quesadilla. The burrito wrappings should always be soft and moist. More chicken, less filling! Chicken had nice seasoning but was too dry and not enough of it in the burrito to classify as a chicken burrito. I ate a yellow rice wrap. 70 extra cents for sour cream?! You’ve gotta be kidding me. Is there a dairy product shortage in Ireland or something? Spare the cheap rationing and throw on the cream on the already € 7 I’m forking out for this thing. It’s not a burrito otherwise. Will I come back, probably not while sober. If its open late, would make for an adequate post-pub filler.
