Established in 1987.

Shane McCarthy has been photographing the famous, the infamous and the not-​so-​famous for over twenty years. Although based in his studio at 4a, Lad Lane, Dublin 2 in the heart of Dublin, he enjoys a bit of an old travel now and again.

An expert in lighting and the traditional art of photography learnt from many long days & nights spent in the darkroom and studio, he is now up to date with digital technology and has forgotten more about photoshop than most people will ever learn. It means he’s very good at the digital stuff.
