Great place to get a quick bite to eat. Wandered into this place at random while passing through town. Good quality food, cheap, and friendly staff. Really fast service, if there’s no wait.

I don’t recommend this place much. A dozen of the 30 dishes on offer, if not more, aren’t Indian or Pakistani in origin, those dishes are mostly Chinese. The foods are nice but that’s about it, the fresh naan bread is a nice touch though.

I have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with all you can eat restaurants. It’s not only that you can eat such outrageous quantities of food — I love being able to try all different kinds of dishes. So, being new to Dublin, I decided I had to find myself a good all you can eat Indian. A few Google searches turned up Spicy Bite, with its 6.50e pakistani and indian buffet which is apparently open 10AM to 7PM every day. I waited eagerly all week(7 pm! That’s too early!) for the weekend to arrive so I could at last try it. And I don’t regret the wait! So delicious! I’ve uploaded some photos so you can see the variety of food available(I’ve read that it can change day to day), but in case you cannot see them here’s a description. There were 7 – 8 meat based dishes, including chicken curry, but also this amazing meat with a sticky red coating, and lamb curry, tandoori chicken… On the vegetarian side, there was of course rice, both fried and not, but also potatoes, noodles, and a variety of vegetarian Indian dishes, some with chickpeas, some with green beans, some with spinach.(sorry, I don’t know the names of the vegetarian dishes! I am just more of a carnivore I guess, what can I say. haha!). Then there were some fried foods, including delicious samosas and papadum, and finally a large array of sauces of all kinds. On top of that, you get a fresh naan. Maybe you can have more if you ask? I was way too full to ask: P Well, I’ll definitely be back! One last note — I’m someone who always drinks water with meals, and if you are too you’ll know a lot of cheaper places(and more expensive ones too!) will«look down» on you for not ordering something to drink that costs money. Not here! Tall cup of water, no problem, and all the service with a smile… doesn’t change the flavor of the food, but makes it a more pleasant meal :)
