Love the décor and cosy atmosphere in this coffee shop. They also stock the amazing Badger and Dodo coffee — my favourite! The cake slices are massive… try the carrot cake!

Great little coffee shop and love the badger & dodo coffee. So nice to go to a nice independent coffee place rather than the generic chains. The pasteries are very tasty and good value. The staff are friendly & love the loyalty card. Def worth a visit if your in the beacon centre

As I keep telling the staff they make the best matcha latte Dublin as no one in the area come close to theirs. Great choice of sandwiches like the pulled pork or the tuna mix and they have many more fillings to choose from. If your in the Beacon south quarter ideal place to meet or just to chill or mellow out if you have kids visiting the kids museum next door or just waiting for the rush hour traffic to calm down.

One of my favourite places in Dublin for coffee. Fantastic service with a smile and tasty coffee. Great mix of savoury and sweet food also. Come here over the chain coffee shop next door any day :)

This is a great coffee place serving lovely freshly brewed coffee and good fresh pastries. I had a chocolate twist with my americano. I do like the way it was served. For me it’s just a huge pity it’s so far from where I live.

The Badger and Dodo coffee is made excellently. I am pretty fussy when it comes to the milk temperature in coffees and it is nailed every time here.

Really friendly staff and an enthusiastic owner who obviously cares about his customers make this a lovely coffee shop. Good soups too. Shop itself could be a little cosier/have nicer décor and that would make it perfect! But for great coffee, this beats the local competition hands down.

If I lived in the area I would be back here. Lovely coffee very well brewed and very tasty pastries. Comfy seating and outisde seating. A real all rounder.

Nestled away in the Beacon courtyard, this privately owned gem lies between the well known coffee chains. I am a regular here for many reasons — the most important being the standard of the food and coffee. The staff are extremely attentive and personable and go beyond what is expected to deliver amazing service. A personal favourite of mine is their CBLT sandwich. Mmm-mmm!

I’m a regular at The Coffee Shot — it’s a place I really like; an independent café amongst all the big chains… with great coffee. Generally we are just dropping by for a take out flat white and double espresso but have occasionally had a croissant, scone or pastry too(on the days its not a pre or post gym visit!) The sandwiches here are great — they have a blackboard menu on the wall and normally have lots of sandwiches made ready for toasting. On a weekend morning, the bacon & egg roll is delicious! Served with a side of tomato relish, on a floury soft white bread roll, lots of bacon too and a fried egg. The ham & cheese toasted sandwich is equally yum, melty cheese and just the right amount of ham on lovely toasted batch type of bread. The owners are present a lot of the time and are lovely, as are all of the staff — friendly and chatty. They brew Badger & Dodo coffee here and always have signs up to say which coffee they are making on the day. The main reason we return time and time again to The Coffee Shot is the coffee. there are lots of other choices for coffee around them but their coffee is good. Great quality coffee to start with and they have well trained baristas who make lovely flat whites, cappuccinos and espressos. There’s a loyalty card too, where you can get your 10th coffee free with 9 stamps. We get lots of value from that with all our visits :)

Really, in the middle of Beacon, normally filled with chain cafes and sub par eateries, this is something special, a beautifully laid out joint serving up some really nice eats and coffee. Well worth seeking out if you are in the area!

I love a good privately owned coffee shop. The owners of the Coffee Shot are really lovely, they appreciate all the business they can get and they are always extremely friendly. The atmosphere in the place is also really relaxed and chilled, which is great when you want to take some time out for a chat in a coffee shop. The food is really nice. I am a bit of a fussy eater when it comes to sandwiches and never like any mayonaise based sauces. Despite having pre prepared sandwiches, they will make you up whatever you want. In addition, they also can do all of their sandwhiches on gluten free bagles, which are very tasty! I have yet to try the cakes there, but I won’t be able to resist them much longer as they look too good. I would highly recommend this spot to drop into if you are in the area.

Finally a great little coffee shop in Sandyford! It’s a huge welcome as the other coffee shops in the area aren’t that great — the staff and owner are always friendly and happy to see you. They have a nice selection of coffee beans and the coffees are consistently good! Food is fresh and tasty. These guys care about coffee!

We went as a group of six from the office for lunch. Whilst most the tables are small we managed to sit together — no problem. And I’d say they don’t often get such a group of people seeing it’s a coffee shop. The staff managed to bring us our sandwiches and coffee basically all together. They also were very friendly and obviously enjoyed their job. Both sandwich and cappuccino were just delicious. I went for the Coffee Shot Special sandwich and loved it. Ok, it was a bit messy and I should’ve gone for a fork with my knife but that didn’t deduct much in my points. And together with the cappuccino I was absolutely stuffed at a reasonable price.

The Beacon Court now has its second coffee shop. The Starbucks has been there a long time and now, 2 doors down, is the Coffee Shot. I like the interior design, its a nice place to hang out. The coffee is nice(and cheaper than Starbucks) the staff are very friendly, seriously, they were very welcoming, a nice touch, I felt like they really appreciated me being there. They had a nice selection of treats too, but I didn’t have one, I’m trying to make space before the Christmas food gorge. Will I be back? Yes.
