The Examcraft Group

History

Established in 2002.

Examcraft is founded by Sean O’Donnell and Brendan Vaughan to provide mock examination papers and a correction service for Junior and Leaving Certificate students. Both are teaching in Coláiste Eanna, Rathfarnham, Dublin. It was purchased by Philip O’Callaghan, Managing Director of The Examcraft Group in 2002.

Since then a number of specialised divisions have been established all offering high quality products and services to secondary schools in Ireland and overseas.

Business Owner

Philip has spent his professional career in the education sector both as a teacher and in education services. He is the founder of The Examcraft Group.

Philip taught for 10 years in Naas CBS and St. David’s CBS, Artane. Since leaving the classroom he has been the managing director of The Examcraft Group, which operates under a number of brands in the education sector:

He holds an MSc in computer applications for education from Dublin City University and an MBA from Warwick University. He is a Buzan Licenced Instructor in Mind Mapping and a Licenced NLP Practitioner.

He has co-​authored two books which support young people and their teachers, Make It Happen — A Teenage Guide to Success and Making A Difference — Stories of Inspirational Teachers.
