I did a makeup course here at the weekend using a groupon voucher. We learned how to do a day look&a smoky eye. The girls who ran it were very nice & there were 3 staff helping out the full group so it was a good ratio of staff to students. I picked up a few good tips & liked the pacing of the teaching. i learned how to do a smoky eye, how to contour&how to properly blend a day time eye. The girls were also full of good budget beauty product recommendations. I definitely learned something&the girls were very approachable&helpful if you needed a bit of extra help (which my friend and I did!)I thought the girls were stronger on makeup application than skincare but I’m a skincare nut& research it all the time so if you’re a beginner it might be sufficient.
Pros: friendly staff, good makeup teaching, decent value, individual attention, not trying to push a particular product on you, good budget tips
Cons:the group was very slightly over crowded by a about 1 person, but no big deal. Skincare info basic.
Id def recommend it. If you’re more advanced at makeup you might need to ask more questions but the girls were happy to teach you anything you asked for.
