We work hard to ensure that our suppliers have the highest animal welfare practices and care about our environment. All our meats are certified Irish and Board Bia approved. Our vegetables, cheese and sour cream are of the highest quality and purchased locally where possible.

Good burritos great hot chipotle sauce, try it with some of the sweet corn on the side. Carnitas is very tasty and the soft shell tacos are good too!

Heard many good things about this place only to be let down immensely. Ordered two burritos online through deliveroo and when it arrived me and my boyfriend chomped in to see probably 1⁄3 of our burritos were comprised of onions and peppers, even after choosing ‘no’ when prompted for them. we even checked the receipt to make sure we had filled the order correctly. when performing burrito surgery to remove the undesirables we were unable to even determine if there was cheese and sour cream. the burrito was small when it arrived and after removing the veggies and peppers i could touch my index finger to my thumb whilst holding it. After eating the burrito it was i that needed surgery because it was horrible and the bottom of the burrito was soup. paying 18.20 (including the 2.50 for the delivery) for 2 burritos made me feel like i was a burrito. Ill be saving my business for Boojum.

In a major fan of Mexican food… We ordered the bowl which is my regular order in other places… Have to say I was disappointed… The meat was nothing to write home about and the rest wasn’t exactly what you would call warm…
It’s one saving grace was that they served thick sour cream, which is always enjoyed…
I don’t think I’ll be rushing back with any great speed…

While chains are always risky, corporate propositions, Chipotle is definitely one of the best around. Tolteca is definitely a take on the Chipotle burrito format, right down to the extra euro it costs you for your guacamole!
These guys are good. On my first visit, however, I felt the black beans were decidedly undercooked. I like them when they DON’T feel very firm in the mouth, especially as that firmness can be a heads up for a later tummy ache.
This is a clean, professional establishment. The chipotle herbs and spices in the ‘hot’ salsa are more flavorsome than that found in my local Chipotle, back home.
I’ll be keen to see if those black beans are less ‘al dente’ on my second visit

Not a bad place for a burrito, the guac is what stands out for me, fresh and creamy with some subtle seasoning.
The meats are tender and have a depth to there respective flavour.
This place is as you may know is part of a chain, the standard is good, it has a loyalty card system and is well kept and clean.
This store id have to say is one of there smallest, so it would be more of a grab and go place than sit and eat with a few freinds, although it does boast some outdoor seating, which is always a plus.

Definitely disappointed. Burritos are everywhere in the city so I was really hoping to find one done right; and although they are fine, they’re nothing special. Growing up in southern California, I’ve had my fair share of burritos, Mexican is one of my fav. cuisines but Tolteca just didn’t do it for me.
The burrito is massive though, they don’t skimp on the filling so you get absolutely stuffed, so for the price I guess that’s something, but that’s about it. The staff were nice and service was quick, I would have done 3 stars but the rice was very dry and a little hard (left out all day) the chicken was also dry, the tortilla is very chewy, and there just wasn’t very much flavor all together. I wouldn’t go back when there are so many other Burrito places in town with rave reviews.

Lovely staff here, who by the way, have excellent burrito wrapping skillz. On both visits the burrito just stayed together. Amazing. No mess, no spillage, no sticky fingers (ew). 10⁄10 there.
I think that one star review is a tad harsh. I’ve been here twice and the food looked fine to me both times. The guac was definitely green. Also the place was spotless, sheeny shiny.
The burritos I’ve had were fine. First was shredded pork, second shredded beef. Nothing to write home about, but tasty. I will say this, their hottest salsa is not very hot. The only disappointment.
They’re a substantial burrito without being too big they fall to bits. I was still full from lunch when I got home from work today. I usually want to eat my arm off at this stage.
I’m glad they are here. It may not be as established as the other two burrito bars, but it’s closer and suits me just fine.

Tolteca is a solid Mexican take away compared to other new places that have opened in Dublin. Staff are always really pleasant. They do a good burrito at a very decent price. They actually had an offer for two for one burritos when I went here. If you are stuck for somewhere– this place is quick, easy and affordable. There is also seating inside.

Why would a chain open a new branch within 5 minutes of two established burrito bars? Especially when, judging by the congealed meat and brown guacamole, they’re not even going to bother making a go of it.
I’m annoyed I even went in there. At least I had the sense to leave without buying anything. As did everyone else by the empty seats
