A lot of fun watching the horses and then the dogs! Betting is very different than in the U.S. where there’s just one location to bet at. Very convenient to have someone come to the table for placement and payment of bets for each race. The food was quite good too. Aside from the rolls being stale, the ravioli starter, chicken dinner and mint chocolate chip ice cream were very tasty. Coffee and tea are included but we never got to it before races ended around 11:30 pm. There is a reduced rate for the set menu if you’ve already paid a gate fee.

I went here with a few friends and we had a great night out. You can spend as little or as much as you want when you place your bet. The drinks/food was quite expensive, but that was because of the exchange rate from sterling. Lots of screens around the track too so everyone can see.

A fun night out for all, you can place as little a bet from a euro to what ever you choose. if you stick to small bets a cheap night out will be the only cost you’ll suffer and you might even end up with more money than you started with. There is a good bar, reasonably priced and serving good meals and drink if you would prefer to sit indoors. There is good parking at the stadium also. The only criticism i have is the track is not sunken like in Tralee Stadium, meaning it can sometimes be be hard for shorter people to see the dogs go past. However this isn’t too much of a problem as their is numerous screens and the place is child-friendly.
