History

Established in 1976.

Jane Forrester started making pottery in 1967 in U.K. She moved to County Cork in Ireland in 1973 and set up the pottery in Bandon, County Cork, in 1976.

The business grew over the following years, training and employing a skilled team which supplied major craft outlets nationwide.

In 2003, upon reaching «retirement age», Jane downsized the business and moved it to studio buildings at her home in Enniskeane, about 12 km. from Bandon. Here she continues to produce on a smaller scale the well known and highly acclaimed pots that have become known as Bandon Pottery.
