Powerscourt Garden Centre

Surprisingly, their plants are not expensive.
They have a great selection and have all of the accessories /​tools to go with them.
I don’t bother with the home section — just focus on the plants /​bulbs /​seeds.
Great value for money and it takes about an hour to see everything, so you might just need to go for lunch afterwards.

This is not just a garden centre! well, a lot of it is a garden centre with plants and pots and compost and every other thing you would expect to find in a garden centre.
The bit i love though is the home section bit. My most recent visit was about a month ago and it is full ofthe most gorgeous christmas decorations. There are a few trees set up and decorated in different themes and under each tree are the decorations for sale. My favourites were the kind of country home made kind of classy decorations, ones that are like little gingham hearts and snomen and robins made of scraps of material there areones that use buttons too, just so different to what you would find in your average shop in town, and thatis what powerscourt is all about, finding something individual.
