This is a nice big space for dining and there is a large beer garden and pitch in the back where you can occupy toddlers if needed. The service is good and the food is ok. A few dishes we liked: the chorizo prawn salad and burger, not the chowder which was very milky and didn’t have much flavor.

Just had dinner there tonight with my family. Stoped in Kanvara for the night and this was across the street from our B&B. Excellent food. Flavors were great! If i come back here again, I will definitely do it. again.

Got in late to Kinvarra and Keogh’s was the recommendation from our land lady at O’Fallons. What a fantastic dinner. Decided to eat in the pub and not the restaurant to have a more relaxed atmosphere and was amazed at the quality of our dinner. My wife enjoyed a wholesome seafood stew while I thoroughly was impressed with the grilled lamp cutlets. You’d have to travel far and wide in California to find lamb that good. Best dinner during our entire week in Ireland. A pint or two of Guinness to go with dinner and some wonderful chats with the locals and we had the perfect start to our stay on the West Coast.

We had planned to visit another restaurant, but it was closed on Tuesdays. Lucky us! The special of the day(lamb cutlets with mint sauce), were fabulous. Tender, fresh vegetables. I could not have asked for a better overall experience. Highly recommend.

Rather than staying in Galway during our trip through Ireland, we decided to stay in Kinvara, and I’m so glad we did. I’ve absolutely fallen in love with this little town! It’s so beautiful! Anyway, onto Keogh’s. I needed to go somewhere that catered for gluten free, and Keogh’s came up first on the list. We headed in there hoping to get a table, and we were lucky enough to get one. The service was quick and the servers really knew the menu and the ingredients. The soup of the day was butternut squash and sweet potato which perked my interest immediately and there’s no way I could go beyond that! Yum! It really was yum too, though a word of warning, while it says gluten free on the menu, the bread that comes with the soup is not gluten free at all, so be careful with that! Their chicken bruschetta was also absolutely delicious and the mussels were plentiful and tasty. We didn’t stay for dessert but we were thoroughly impressed with the service and the quality of the food. I do suggest they serve the gluten free soup with gluten free bread though, just to avoid confusion!

During a week vacationing in Western Ireland, we happened upon this place. What luck! Padraig and his staff made each visit(we tried breakfast, lunch and Dinner!) a delight. Even included lessons on the perfect Irish coffee. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, dinner was gourmet! Don’t miss an opportunity to stop at Keogh’s!

Keogh’s was a real surprise. The first pub my girlfriend and I tried upon arriving nearby, we stumbled in on a weekday evening because it was the only place in Kinvara we were certain was actually serving food. And it turned out to have some damn tasty options. We got both of the specials — a cajun chicken panini with red onion and a crab-and-gruyère baked potato. Both were excellent, with tons of flavor and spice. The gents behind the bar were also exceptionally nice. During our meal, they checked up on us at least three times to make sure we were enjoying it. Definitely worth checking out if you’re staying anywhere nearby.

We ate several lunches and one dinner at Keogh’s during the past week. The service is excellent. I especially liked the seafood chowder which is loaded with fresh fish, mussels and prawns in a cream sauce.
