History

Established in 1991.

From small beginning in our little deli at the back of Silke’s Fruit Market, Munster Ave we have grown. The burgers became so popular that we moved to a larger location so Scotty’s first opened it’s own doors in Middle Street, Galway in 1994. Our mission was and still is to this day to serve the finest quality, locally sourced ingredients at a reasonable price. We purchase locally whenever possible to keep jobs within our community. Our bread is from Griffin’s Bakery, Our Beef is always from Co. Galway Our motto is :

” Serious Food, Genuine Hospitality”. We really do believe in service with a smile.

We have been listed on Burger Busi​ness​.com as one of the worlds Top 50 Burger Joints since 2011, This is based on Food Quality and menu innovation. We are very proud to have been chosen by them as one of their must try locations.

Burger Lover! Moved to Ireland from OHIO, USA in January 1991 with his wife Jenny Silke. Scott and Jenny graduated from Johnson and Wales University, Rhode Island USA which is where they met. They felt that they would like to raise their family here in Galway.

He believes that quality food should be made and served with love, in a casual atmosphere. Where friends and family, young and old can relax and enjoy each others company, celebrate special occasions or just chill after a hard day. Scotty want’s you to feel as if you are visiting his home and that you are always welcome.
