History

Established in 1887.

1887 Stephen Murtagh and Sons was established as a Provender Millers/​Grain merchants.

1930 The company move to the Smithfield area.

1955 A second premises is purchased on the site of an old cattle mart in Ashbourne.

2007 The business expands with a third store being purchased in Sandymount.

2007 With a view to benefiting from better pricing and support, Murtaghs became a member of the Topline brand and buying group.

2009 Full store revamp and rebrand.



2014 Opening of new premises in Glasthule, the newest addition to the Topline Murtaghs family.

We aim to continue providing excellent service, creating lifelong customers and further develop this thriving community.
